Proton: private email, VPN, storage and AI.
Proton is a Swiss privacy company, started in 2014 by scientists who met at CERN. It makes encrypted email, VPN, password, storage and AI apps that are paid for by subscriptions, not by your data. Use our partner links below to get a discount.
Your data should work for you, not for an ad network.
Most of the free tools we all grew up on are paid for with our data. Your inbox, your files, your searches, and now your AI chats all feed something.
Proton is a privacy-first company based in Switzerland. Their apps are encrypted, and the business runs on subscriptions, not on selling what they know about you. That's why we recommend it, and why it sits in the foundation of the systems we build.
